History
Artista plástico, natural de Alcobaça, fez estudos de escultura na Escola Superior de Belas Artes de Lisboa, expondo regularmente desde 1957-1958 em mostras coletivas e individuais, os seus trabalhos encontram-se representados em coleções e museus em Portugal e no estrangeiro, incluindo esculturas em espaço público e também peças de joalharia, medalhística e numismática. Fundou na sua terra natal o Armazém das Artes - Fundação Cultural, instituição sem fins lucrativos inaugurada em Março de 2007. Foi agraciado em 2006 com o grau de Comendador da Ordem do Infante.
