Mosteiro que tem origem num recolhimento de beatas fundado por Brites Pinto, em 1560, com a invocação de Santa Marta. Em 1599, a Infanta D. Maria, filha de D. Manuel, transforma-o num mosteiro de freiras (Terceiras Regulares), consagrando-o a Nossa Senhora da Graça. A 5 de Fevereiro desse ano, nele entram as fundadoras. Extinto em 1882.
