Escritor, poeta, pintor e encadernador, viveu exilado em França, Bélgica e Espanha entre 1971-1974, fazendo estudos de arte em Paris na Escola Superior de Belas Artes e na Universidade de Vincennes (Paris-VIII). Interrompeu os estudos e regressou a Abrantes em Setembro de 1974, cidade que adotou, sobre a qual escreveu, desenhou e onde faleceu.
