Biographical history
Frequentou a Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa e em Paris, nos anos 1970, a École des Beaux-Arts. Entre 1970-1975 foi gerente da fábrica de confeitaria "Vieira de Castro & Filhos, Lda.", sediada em Vila Nova de Famalicão, de onde é natural. Estabelece-se em Lisboa em 1976, inicialmente com o espaço "LEO Decorações - presentes com objectos", comercializando mobiliário e peças de arte popular e erudita. Abre no mesmo espaço, em Fevereiro de 1980, a "Galeria LEO" (1980-1993?) mantendo-se à frente desta até se retirar.
