Biographical history
Pintor, natural de Lisboa, frequentou a Escola de Artes Decorativas António Arroio. Exilado em França, prosseguiu estudos em Paris, na Escola Nacional Superior de Belas Artes, na Escola do Louvre e na Universidade Internacional do Teatro das Nações. Readquire a nacionalidade portuguesa, retirada pelo governo de Salazar, após a revolução de Abril e foi nomeado diretor do Teatro da Trindade. Regressou a França em 1976, trabalhou em vídeo, dirigindo uma agência de videografia e na década seguinte retomou a pintura. Teve ligação ao grupo surrealista de Lisboa, nomeadamente com Mário Cesariny, Cruzeiro Seixas e Isabel Meyrelles.
