Biographical history
Nascida em Itália, formou-se em Pintura Mural na Escola de Artes de Veneza, tendo também o Curso de Desenho com Modelo e cursos de restauro de pinturas e têxteis. Fixou-se em Portugal na década de 1950, fazendo restauro de têxteis antigos e abrindo em Lisboa atelier de restauro de tapeçaria que dirigiu entre 1957-1974. Dedicou-se também ao ensino, a partir de então, o atelier de restauro deu lugar a atelier-escola de tapeçaria e tecelagem. Em 1978 fundou o Grupo 3.4.5. de Tapeçaria Portuguesa e também nessa época ingressou no ensino público como professora de Tecnologia de Tapeçaria da Escola António Arroio. Evoluiu da tapeçaria tradicional para objetos tridimensionais, misturando materiais não convencionais.
