Biographical history
Galerista francês, viveu no Brasil durante a 2.ª Guerra Mundial e em Nova Iorque no início dos anos 1950. Juntamente com dois sócios, abriu em 1972 a "Galerie des Quatre Mouvements" (Dada, Surrealismo, Pop Art e Hiper-realismo americano) e aí se manteve até à morte do amigo e seu sócio Fred Fisher em 1976. Lançou o primeiro projeto individual em 1981, a "Galerie 1900-2000", associando ao negócio o seu filho David, especialista em fotografia, em 1991. A galeria é uma referência em Paris e nos mercados e salões de arte internacionais.
