Biographical history
Escritor, integrou o movimento surrealista e participou na primeira exposição do grupo surrealista português em 1949, dele se afastando em 1952 para se dedicar à área do jornalismo, da publicidade e crítica de cinema. Foi opositor ao regime do Estado Novo, membro da direção da Sociedade Portuguesa de Escritores e secretário geral da Associação da Imprensa Diária.
