Biographical history
Artista autodidata, começou a desenhar e pintar nos anos 1970, realizando a primeira exposição individual na Póvoa de Santa Iria, sua terra natal, em 1971. A sua pintura tem marcas do surrealismo pelo contacto e colaboração que manteve com Cruzeiro Seixas nos anos 1970-80, de que resultaram trabalhos conjuntos. Fixou residência em Espanha desde 1977, ganhando notoriedade como escultor e gravador.
